I am 3 months old today!
*This month, I definitely had a tougher time getting pictures of Cooper. He is kicking and flapping those arms so much that he turns into one big blur. Ha!
This month was by far the most fun we've ever had. We got to visit with family and friends and some of them were meeting Cooper for the first time. He has changed so much since last month and his sweet personality is really starting to show. He is interacting with people and toys more which has been fun. We celebrated Cooper's first Christmas and had a ball. He was spoiled rotten...

Cooper's Size
We have graduated from 3 month clothes (This week, actually.) and now that Mommy has finished washing all the 6 month outfits, Little Man can stretch out his toes again. Ha! Seriously it happened over night. Poor thing was being stuffed into his sleepers. I sure am glad I bought 6 month outfits for Christmas. Some of his 3 month separates still fit.
We are in size 2 diapers. *We STILL have not had to purchase one pack of diapers ourselves. Friends and family blessed us big time.

| I can't take it! He looks so grown up to me in the 3 month picture. Poor Mr. Frog is looking smaller and smaller. |

Cooper's Likes
The bouncy seat is the favorite right now. It vibrates and now that Cooper kicks constantly he bounces himself so he just thinks it's the greatest thing.
The swing is now on the back burner. Every now and then he'll swing, but he is so long that his poor feet almost hang off. We have to put it on at least the 4 speed for it to even swing our chunky monkey. Ha! In the next few weeks I'm thinking we'll store the swing and replace it with his exersaucer.
We went ahead and returned our Nap Nanny after the recall. We obviously never put it in his crib which was what started the recall, but we decided to be safe and go ahead and just take it back (he wasn't loving it anymore anyway). We got a store credit to BuyBuyBaby so we figure we can buy his high chair since that's the only thing we still need.
He loves to get a good fist full of Mommy's hair and pull. Not so fun for Mommy, but Coop thinks it's hysterical. Especially when Mommy says "OUCH!".
He still loves when we sing and gets really tickled when Daddy sings Old McDonald and does the silly animal sounds (My husband will do just about anything for a smile from Cooper. Ha!). He likes when Mommy reads. He gets really quiet and still. I think he likes the inflection in my voice. I hope he is a big reader! His is still in awe of his Pop's deep voice.
Car rides are still a hit. Ben calls it the sleep chamber because he passes out every time we go anywhere.
Hats are another favorite. Luckily we got tons for Christmas!

| Cooper Joe is a man of many hats. These are just a few of his news ones. |
Cooper's Dislikes
He has gotten to where he tolerates baths and diaper changes, so those really aren't dislikes anymore. I guess the only things he dislikes is being wet or hungry (who wouldn't ?).
Places We Go
Mimi and Poppy's and Lolly and Pop's house is our favorite place to go (maybe because he gets SPOILED rotten while he's there...). We shop A LOT some and he loves the lights in the stores. We go to church, out to eat, to our friend's houses for play dates and to our family lunch on Sundays. We went to lots of new places during the Holidays.
What We Are Up To
Cooper Joseph is eating 6 oz. every three hours. You can set your watch by this Boy. He takes his last bottle between 9:00-10:00pm and sleeps until between 7:30-8:00am. It's glorious! He truly is a Counts, they love them some sleep. It cracks me up because he starts cooing in the morning and when I go in to get him and say "Good morning Cooper Joe!", he grins his biggest, gummiest smile. I get about 100 more of those grins while I'm changing his diaper. I look forward to that every single day!
We are still using his fleece sleep sacks and we swaddle him with arms in. He "talks" for a few minutes right when we put him down and then he conks out.
Bath time is still at night and still QUICK. We rub some night time lotion on him and put on his robe and slippers while we give him his last bottle. Then it's PJ's, swaddle and lights out.
Cooper is very aware of the TV. Luckily Santa brought us some Baby Einstein DVD's and Uncle Bird gave us a DVD/BlueRay player for Christmas, so we can watch them whether we are in Mom and Dad's room or the living room.
He thinks it is hilarious when he has a stinky and Momma says shoo-wee! He just smiles and coos. He must be all boy since he thinks poop is funny. ;)
He can hold his bottle once it gets about half gone. That is, when he feels like it. Most of the time he would rather Mommy just hold it so he can just relax.
He is grasping toys like a big boy. He loves his teether keys he got for Christmas.
He Ooohs and Ahhhs all the time. Sometimes I think he is trying so hard to tell me something. He just can't spit it out. Ha! Mommy and Daddy act like crazy people to get a laugh or coo out of him.
If someone comes into a room and he hears their voice, he will snap that head around and find whoever is talking (don't tell anyone, but he REALLY does it if he hears his Mommy's voice. I love it!).
He found his tongue big time this month.
I have caught him with that thumb (and sometimes the WHOLE HAND) in his mouth.! He'll take a pacifier, but if we pull it away he doesn't care. That's a good thing because Ben and I were both huge paci babies and our Moms had a time breaking us from it (especially ME :/).
Like always, we are trying to just freeze time and enjoy each phase. I feel so blessed to be able to stay home with my Boy. It means so much to me and I am grateful beyond measure! I am trying to soak it all up and not take one moment for granted.
Ben is so wonderful and even after he has worked all day, he comes home and jumps right in and helps me out with Cooper.
Happy 3 months Sweet Boy. Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know. We are so excited to begin this New Year with you. We are so proud of all that you've accomplished so far and can't wait to see all the things you will continue to learn.
I know we have some wonderful things in store!
